Kristen D. Gourrier
Kristen Gourrier, a recent law school graduate, is beginning her legal career at Cohen Clair. She received her B.A. cum laude from New York University and her J.D. from Harvard Law School.
While attending Harvard Law School, Ms. Gourrier was a Fellow and leadership board member of the Youth Advocacy & Policy Lab, through which she dedicated her studies to family law and child advocacy. Ms. Gourrier worked directly with clients as a student attorney in the Domestic Violence & Family Law Clinic and gained experience in impact litigation in the Child Advocacy Clinic, through which she worked for Children's Rights, Inc. in New York. She served as a Teaching Fellow for “The Art of Social Change”, a course exploring the child welfare system, the juvenile justice system, and education law. Ms. Gourrier also served as a selections editor for the Harvard Journal of Law & Gender and participated in the Black Law Students Association.
