Nicholas Ferris Cohen
Nicholas Cohen is admitted to practice in New York State, as well as before the United States Supreme Court, the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the Middle District of Georgia and the Federal Trade Commission.
Prior to joining the firm, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Barry Ted Moskowitz of the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. He began his career as a commercial litigator at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP.
Mr. Cohen sits on the board of trustees of the Northside Center, an organization which provides expert behavioral, mental health, education and enrichment programs to children and families living in poverty. He also serves on the alumni council for the Buckley School in New York City.
Mr. Cohen received his JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2005, where he served as an editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review. Prior to law school, he received his BS from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and graduated from St. Paul’s School in Concord, New Hampshire. He lives in New York City with his wife and two daughters.
